head

thanks to everyone for their headache info.

my headache seems to have parts of each, but don't follow any specific.

like a migraine, its on one side. it increases with intensity throughout the day.
i don't know if it feels better when i sleep cuz i'm always fucking working.

like cluster it's above my eye. at it's worst it is piercing, but i think actually sleep helps it. and my nose has been running like crazy, and when i first got it my left eye (opposite side of the pain) was tearing like a motherfucker. (i thought i was getting allergies.

like tension, it starts in my neck and stretches to my forehead. it also starts dull and progressively gets worse.

fuck if i know.
i'm going with cluster or tension. i'll just go to an O2 bar!

the better news:
i still felt it today, but its almost like its reminants.
like if i do anything extreme it'll flare back up.
i did work at fred meyer today, and i was doing physical activities (pushing carts) but it never got really bad like a few days ago.
...a lingering, kinda dull pain.

its probably my recent bad sleeping patterns:
9 - 12 hr nights Tuesday - Thursday, then 4 - 6 hr nights Friday - Monday.

yeah, 12. i don't know how i do it either...

Ran into another random fact while doing some other reading...Apparently Albanians do not suffer headaches. There has been some research into that fact but they have not been able to determine why. There isn't even a word in the Albanian language for headache.

Hmm, strange set of symptoms you have there...I would guess either migraine or cluster, but I don't know which of those factors is supposed to be the most accurate at telling what you have. I think Sumatriptan is used for all kinds of HA, so it would be nice if you could try that. But you have to get a prescription for it. I guess if I was you, I'd take 2 tablets of Advil or Aleve at the first inkling of pain or maybe even before that, like first thing in the morning, and see if that works at all. But you can't take that stuff indefinitely or you'll mess up your stomach...

Also, do you guys have any free clinics in Seattle? There are some here aimed at peeps like you who don't get insurance and don't qualify for medicaid. You could try that to make sure it's nothing serious & see if they have better ideas for meds.

maybe albanians have larger brain vessels than the average person.
i know tibetan woman have larger placental blood vessels than other people. but you can kinda account for that from the altitude they live in, whereas albanians seem random. although aren't a lot of white basketball players oddly from that area?
