i guess i'll talk again about the two sources i keep commenting on.
first, john stewart on the state of the union address:
"did they just say Boo-ush?" a la Simpsons.
second, NPR:
what's the deal with the damn cow bell? they did a bit on it saying how big it was in the 70's and that it's kinda bouncing back again.
is this solely due to will ferrell's blue oyster cult sketch, or is it just a cow bell revolution?

cow bell, cow bell!! download the rapture, they are cowbell kings. its so good you don't even realize its there until you pay attention
ha! I heard this on NPR too! First, I heard them talk about the amazing wonders of the cowbell, along with playing that skit...then I heard em talk about all the calls and letters they were getting asking why they were talking about stupid cowbells to their "intelligent, distinguished" audience. hehe
