watched both the matrix and minority report tonight.
kinda weird the similarities. they both try to diefy someone, calling them "the one" or having other people blurt out "mother mary of joseph" or whatever shit that was. they both have an oracle...some chic that sees the future.
both use some form of the trinity. in matrix, the chic... its her name. in minority report, they have 3 pre-cogs and their sign is this stubbed, blunted triangle.
both also use some sort of program to simulate life for people. the difference is that one is to harvest energy from people, a kooky twist on the human domestication of plants, where virtually the whole human race and A.I. are interdependent among each other where people are the ones being "domesticated" and "harvested" with exception of the few "wild" ones. this compared to a holding cell in minority report for wouldbe killers.
both have the idea of stacks upon stacks of people in a storage-like situation. at least in the matrix its for some purpose.

is there a point to this? i dunno. i dont think ive reached one myself. i just thought the ideas themselves were interesting, and then to be represented in two different movies was kind of intriguing.
meh. i couldnt go more in depth into it anyway. my words and thoughts are getting all twisted up as it is.
