so i was thinking....
Lake shitty fired me for something petty like letting a friend use my employee discount.
something not too devilishly bad, but nonetheless looked down upon. (with my unemployement as proof).
so i was thinking, well, these bastards cant be squeeky clean. have they done anything that i overlooked just because i didnt really care what they did just as long as it didnt affect me?

and then it hits me.

after being fired, from the various sources that i've heard from, there is a mandatory waiting period of 6 months.
i was fired in mid march from ballard, and re-hired in lake shitty in early july. now according to my math, thats only 3 months with a remainder of a week or 3.
so. i thought i would play stupid and email the fred meyer elite, asking that i was offered to be re-hired after the mandatory waiting period from an administrative discharge (tee hee). i told them that i had been fired before, but picked up in three months. but that i've heard rumors of this actually being 6 months. i also told them, how i asked the store director (by name), who couldnt come up with a straight answer (i wonder why ;).
so i asked if they could set me straight.
but the beauty of this is...
that if the recipient of the email is in any way competent, they'll figure out that something illegal went down, cuz as far as i know, the time necessary is 6 months.
so if the people up top are anything like the bitch of a store director i had before, she'll be out on her ass!!!!

i know what you're saying: wishful thinking.
and, i know. it probably won't go anywhere, but, ya know,
it never hurts to try =D
especially when it means retribution for something as retarded as that.
