had to stop by the parents again, and in doing so, i got hungry, so i went to my favorite place to get a quick bite on the eastside.
BLIMPIES.
however. immediatelly when i walked in, things werent right. there was an akward fatty rack of chips out where you'd point out what you want on your sandwich.
they added jalapenos, pickles and olives. something blimpie jim was adamently against.
i see this (asian) indian dude wearing a collared button up blimpies shirt. and i start thinking.
so i ask the dude thats worked there a while, jim's not in?
he tells me blimpie jim doesnt work there anymore, its been about 2 weeks.
apparently he sold the franchise to indian guy. he remodeled a bit and things look, well, just, odd.
food was still good, but it was lacking the hospitality.
blimpie jim is now just some mormon dude named jim.
i need to be outta that town longer before shit like that starts changing.
that shit looked the same all throughout high school, but now buildings have gone up in the smallest places possible.
its ass. im not sure i like it.
